Dr. Vivitri Dewi Prasasty, 41 years old, is a Scientist Fellow in the field of Pharmaceutical Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Organic Chemistry and Medicinal Plants. She earned a Bachelor and Master Degrees in Chemistry from Sebelas Maret University and University of Indonesia, respectively in 2002 and 2006. She continued her education with a Doctoral Degree in Chemistry at University of Indonesia and graduated in 2014. She also experienced as a Research Scholar in the University of Kansas as part of her dissertation in 20011-2013. She had been awarded for Global Health Travel Award,  supported by Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, for participating Keystone Symposia Meeting in Boston-USA, April-May 2015; Global Exchange Lecture Course  Travel Award supported by European Molecular Biology Organization, for participating Workshop in Protein determination in Taipei-Taiwan, May 2015, and Asian/Pacific Regional Committee Travel Award supported by International Brain Research Organization, for participating Japan Neuroscience Society Meeting as an oral presenter in Kobe-Japan, July 2015. Recently, Dr. Vivitri received an Indonesian Government Award for High-quality Scientific Article in the Field of Health and Medicine in November 2020. Moreover, Dr. Vivitri is actively writing and publishing papers. She has published more than 60 scientific papers and is a named inventor of one patent. She is also regional reviewer of Biopropal Indonesia, associate reviewer of Journal of Molecular Catalysis B: Enzymatic, Elsevier, Journal of Medicinal Chemistry Research, Springer and guest editor of Evidence-Based Complementary and Alternative Medicine, Hindawi. She received the Competitive Research Grant from The Ministry Of Research, Technology, and Higher Education Republic of Indonesia. In the future, she hopes could encourage other scientists to produce the excellent quality of scientific papers, to lead the enhancement of paper citation of the faculty, and to improve the highly trained skills with recent research infrastructures. She also intends to implement and transfer her knowledge to the academic communities in Indonesia and continue the research collaboration among universities in worldwide and Indonesia by the scheme of research grant. In addition, she looks forward to contribute more reach out to wide societies.
